Dr. Joyce Perih
Dr. Joyce Perih, a native of Scranton, earned her BS in Biology with honors from the University of Scranton. She then attended Case Western Reserve University, where she earned a rare double degree, a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and a Masters of Science in Oral Biology and Facial Growth. Doctor Perih was awarded the MS degree for her intense work on the growing mandible and temporomandibular joint complex. She also was an Associate Professor in the department of Oral Biology. Dr. Perih has presented her research nationally.
Dr. Perih next pursued her Orthodontic Certificate at the prestigious University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. Upon completion she then went on to become the Clinical Director and Assistant Professor in the department of Orthodontics. She also interned and joined the clinical staff at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia serving on the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Deformities Team.
Dr. Perih was honored as one of the Top 25 Business Women in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Her office was voted five time “Happy Award Winner for Best Orthodontics” for Happenings Magazine. She was also honored nationally by having been chosen to be featured in Orthodontics Practice Magazine. Dr. Perih’s main objective is for her patients to leave their treatment feeling confident and looking fabulous with their own smile for a lifetime.
