Timing is everything when it comes to your child's orthodontic treatment to ensure proper development of the jaws and dentition. It is recommended that children be seen between the ages of 6 and 9 for initial evaluation.

Growth Guidance

The Perih Smile Growth Guidance Program helps children achieve a healthy, lasting smile with functional appliance therapy. It lets children wear removable orthodontic devices to allow teeth and jaws to develop properly.

These devices allow the eruption of permanent teeth properly to their ideal positions. Thus, most of the time, these patients require less invasive orthodontic treatments in the future.

Appliances

With the help of orthodontic appliances, such as palatal expanders, we are able to correct jaw alignment irregularities and reposition teeth to their ideal position. It works hand-in-hand with other orthodontic treatment (i.e., braces).

Traditional braces can be worn by all ages to correct a variety of orthodontic problems.

Metal Braces

Metal braces are now smaller and more comfortable. Wires are also less noticeable than they used to be and move teeth faster with less discomfort to patients. A fun part of wearing metal braces is picking the colored rubber bands!

Clear Braces

Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns.
